API Monogram

This commitment is supported by processes that manage conflicts of interest, ensure personnel competence, maintain confidentiality of information while promoting openness, and enable communication with all stakeholders.
The API Monogram program is a voluntary licensing program that facilitates the consistent manufacturing of product that conforms to applicable API Specifications. The program requires that manufacturers maintain the capabilities, including the resources, processes and technology, to manufacture products that fall within the scope of licensing. The program gives licensed manufacturers an opportunity to mark conforming product so that it is easily recognizable and identifiable in the field. Licensees demonstrate that they have a quality management system that is compliant with API Spec Q1 – an industry-leading quality management standard. API Spec Q1 meets most of the ISO 9001 requirements, in addition to requirements that are geared specifically for the oil and natural gas industry. The API Monogram Licenses are only issued after an on-site audit has verified that the facility meets the program requirements. Licensees are required to maintain continued management system conformity to API Spec Q1 as well as the product standard and program requirements. In order for a license to remain active, the licensee must go through a renewal audit after each 3 year period.
Licensed manufacturers are given the authority to apply the API Monogram registered mark to equipment that meets the requirements.

API 6A or 6D Monogram Training
API 6A and API 6D are esteemed specification established by API which established meticulous criteria for design, manufacture, testing and documentation of wellhead and equipment. API 6A specification and API 6D specification holds a paramount importance within the oil and gas sector serving as the definitive guideline for design, manufacturing, testing of wellhead equipment. API 6A training course or the API 6D training course should be the first step for understanding the requirements of the specification. API 5CT, 5B & 5B-1 Training
This API Training is based on API 5CT, 5B & 5B-1 i.e. the Threading and Gauging of casing, tubing and line pipe threads. The Basic Gauge Measurement Instruction course for Tubing and Casing is designed to introduce, familiarize and teach correct gauging techniques for the proper measurement of tubing and casing threads utilizing equipment commonly found in the industry. The course is one full day, eight-hour course. The participant will be given a history of gauge use, types of gauges and importance of proper gauging techniques followed by hands on gauging of various threads in both passing and failing condition. Students are tested for understanding and implementation of lessons and then graded to achieve passing completion of the course. AVN Professional Quality is associated with Gauge Training, an approved training organisation for American Petroleum Institute (API) to facilitate these API training courses. Upon successful completion, participants receive an API U Certificate issued by API and a course completion identification card.
API Monogram Marking
The API Monogram is an API registered certification mark. Through the API Monogram Program, licensed manufacturers are given the authority to apply the mark to material / equipment that meets API product specification requirements and has been manufactured within a quality management system that meets API Spec Q1.
